Paper flower art

I've been playing around with paper this week. I was throwing away some old magazines and got a little crafty with them. What started out as experimenting with making a few paper flowers turned into a full-blown wall art project.

I apologize for the awful pictures of my dimly lit apartment!

The garland is made from a crazy amount of paper, cut into little flower shapes, each taped individually to the wall. The larger flowers surrounding the mirror are layered paper circles, cut imperfectly, and held together with brads. They are taped on also.

It is difficult to see the flowers in the vase, but they were made by this technique.

Just something fun to beautify my living room in the time before the Halloween decorations go up.
